I have worked with Simmons Foods for 6 years now and I love that I always took a step up in my work positions instead of down, and I believe it is because how I work. I love experience to learn many attributes in my job, or any other position I look at. I was a Shipping Clerk for 3 years and I learned about all positions in the Shipping department just from helping my fellow co-workers and it was something else I could put on my list that I have learned. And now me being in the maintenance department was a big eye opener for me since I did not know much maintenance work. Learning about the name and specifications of any part took some time to get familiar with. With that, I learned to pay more attention to detail. In shipping I didn't need to pay that much attention to detail since it was the same product, the same customers, and the same trailers and drivers. But now, everyday is different whether its me ordering for our maintenance techs or me calling vendors or driving out to see them(which I prefer). I love to work, especially work that challenges me. I love to learn, even though I will have a big question mark above my head most of the time but I will get it.
