About Cassime Joseph

I am a veteran of the United States Army, currently attending Colorado State University Pueblo, majoring in mass communications with an emphasis on multimedia journalism. During my internship at KOAA, I was offered the position at KOAA as their Photojournalist. My work in communications and journalism requires a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, Adobe Premiere, Audition, and Photoshop, also broadcasting and AP writing skills. I support CSUP's Media and Entertainment department as Operations Director for our radio station, KTSC 89.5 FM. I am KTSC's weekday morning host and also host of the weekly Veterans Voice radio program and podcast. I am a photojournalist and feature writer for our bi-weekly newspaper, The Today, covering various topics including homelessness, food insecurity and matters concerning veterans. In support of our military-connected student population, I serve as president of the Student Veterans of America CSU Pueblo Chapter. To advance CSU Pueblo's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, I am a member of our Black Student Union, assisting in fundraising and event coordination.
