About Cassius Miller

I currently oversee Claims and Underwriting for State National Companies/Markel as Sr. Director of Insurance Solutions. For a decade I've had the privilege to serve various companies and offer my expertise in the insurance, enterprise risk management and corporate training industry. I acquired my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management from The University of Texas at Dallas and in my spare time I remain a faithful member in various community service/outreach projects. When working for Berkshire-Hathaway GEICO I ranked #1 twice annually as a claims team manager/supervisor, and excelled in the lowest turnover and highest promotion rate for my associates. At Cars and Credit Master/CCM Finance I came in as an insurance expert and built the insurance department from the ground up, turning a 4 million dollar deficit into a 2.8 million dollar profit. At Texas Wesleyan University I had the privilege to build the processes and oversee the Risk Management and Compliance department: overall we reduced our Workers Compensation claims to an annual minimum and restructured the student health insurance program to help our students receive the best service experience.
