Chief Officer at ESTEEM (15+ years)| MA in Development Studies | Mountain Leader | Surfer & Climber As Chief Officer at ESTEEM, I've led this youth-focused charity through a period of transformation, integrating sustainable social enterprise models to secure our future and increase our impact. With a strong commitment to participatory approaches, I work with diverse organisations, including local educational institutions and both public and private sector bodies, to share ESTEEM’s expertise in youth engagement and active citizenship. I have focused on developing training and consultancy services that empower others to foster community connections. I specialise in Participatory Action Research, leading and designing workshops that centre around topics critical to young people's wellbeing, such as safeguarding, peer mentoring, and community engagement. Passionate about mental health and outdoor adventure as pathways to personal growth, I bring 20 years of experience, starting as a Support Worker in Hove, then a Care Home Manager for people with SEND in London, and a Behavioural Strategies Implementor for Australia’s Department of Aging, Disability & Homecare.
