About Cat Ward

I’ve worked in advertising and marketing, and while the skills I’ve learned, the connections I’ve made, and the friendships I’ve built have been invaluable to me as a person, being more hands-on in the creative process is where I thrive. I’ve always loved writing as a way of connecting with people. And in the current digital age, it seems all I can do is write to connect with people. Public relations has been a ghost I’ve seen in my peripherals for years. Social media? Encapsulated my life since I was 14 and is now one of the most immediate and legitimate forms of PR. Criminal minds? My favorite show since college, and and my favorite character is still the media consultant that controlled the press’ coverage. I even did PR for my high school drama department by tweeting out catchy tweets promoting our latest show from my personal Twitter account.
