I am a dedicated and passionate professional in Radiotherapy, with extensive experience in coordinating technical teams and implementing radiotherapy services from the ground up within prestigious oncology centers in Romania — Neolife Brăila and Regina Maria Private Healthcare Network. As a Radiotherapy Technical Coordinator, I have been actively involved in developing and optimizing clinical workflows, mentoring junior technologists, and building a work environment founded on professional excellence, empathy, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Throughout my career, I have gained strong expertise in operating state-of-the-art equipment such as TrueBeam, Halcyon, and GE CT simulators, performing advanced treatment techniques including: SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy) – delivering high-precision extracranial treatments with ablative doses in hypofractionated regimens; SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery) – cranial high-precision treatments (e.g, brain metastases) in close collaboration with medical and physics teams. 🩺 Key responsibilities and achievements: Coordinating, training, and assessing teams of radiotherapy technologists and nurses; Ensuring compliance with radiotherapy treatment protocols and safety standards; Operating and maintaining linear accelerators, CT simulators, and treatment planning systems; Monitoring patient comfort and safety during procedures; Optimizing workflow efficiency and fostering team cohesion across departments; Managing schedules, operational reports, and clinical resources.
