Responsibilities: • Discuss requirements to find any logical faults. Feedback ideas or processes to help create and improve the use cases, wireframes and activity flows • Prepare project plans for both teams (dev and test); estimating the go live date. Make sure all development streams are on track and timelimes do not slip. Participate to meetings with 3rd party suppliers to have the estimates from their side and agree a go live schedule • Check the test cases/scripts once the test team has started using them (test scripts created by me as Business Analyst) • Manage the test team: direct, plan and monitor the team's tests • Ensure that quality controls of the team's tests are planned and performed correctly • Re-assigning developers to test team to manage the software development process in an efficient way • Development and management of process to record software bugs • Reporting of bug management (new bugs / development – fixed / returned to dev etc) • Manage Regression Testing the current production applications / interfaces • System testing the system as a whole (including, and interface testing, and release readiness testing). • Take responsibility for the progress of the team's tests and use of team resources and initiate corrective action where necessary (also notifying the Technical Director about the new implications) • Manage User Acceptance Testing (check compatibility on different platforms: PC, mobile, tablet) • Train customer support team to acknowledge the new modules/changes which go live • Advise the Technical Director of any deviations from plan (on dev and test), recommend corrective action and help prepare any appropriate Exception Plans • Pass back to the Technical Director products that have been completed and approved in line with the agreed Work Package requirements (decide when products can be deployed on live system)
