Mechanical Engineering, specialized in design and fabrication of process equipment for refineries, petro-chemistry and other oil and gas related facilities. Over 27 years of experience that includes: 1. High experience in design of equipment for following facilities: Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, LC Fining, Crude and Vacuum, Delayed Coking, SAGD, Gas Fractionation, CO2 capture, Commercial alcohols, Amine sweetening, Oil and Gas Upstream including Sweetening and Dehydration as well as FCC, MTBE and Olefins facilities. High experience (more than 23 years) in stress analysis, detail design, of various types of pressurized equipment such as high pressure hydroprocessing reactors, coke drums, FCC reactors and regenerators, high and low pressure vessels and distillation columns, shell and tube heat exchangers, in accordance with ASME Code Div.1 and 2, TEMA and A.D. Merckblatt standards. High experience (more than 19 years) in design of atmospheric storage tanks in accordance with API 650, API 620 and API 12 F/D. High experience in using Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS) for static and dynamic stress analysis. High experience in using Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Three years experience in project co-ordination, for gas, oil and storage facilities, water treatment, oil recovery and gas pipelines. Two years experience in design of sour / sweet gas and oil pipelines in accordance with CSA Z662. Ten years experience as coordinator of mechanical engineering activities related to static pressure equipment. Three years experience in plant (refinery and petrochemical plant) maintenance and revamp of pressure vessels, columns, reactors, and heat exchangers. High experienced in using specialized software for equipment mechanical design (Compress and PV Elite and Nozzle Pro), heat transfer (HTRI) and drafting (AutoCAD). Member of Canadian association of Proffessional Engineers in Alberta, in British Columbia.
