About Catarina Pechincha
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Gene Expression (CGEN), University of Copenhagen. I pursued my Doctoral studies at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. My doctoral research project was developed in the Lab of Wilhelm Palm, at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ), and focused on understanding cellular pathways that allow cancer cells to proliferate in different metabolic environments. I’m a very versatile, polyvalent, autonomous, and interested person. I have a great sense of responsibility and organization, a good team spirit, the facility to adapt to new situations, mutual aid, communication, and establishing interpersonal relationships. All of these characteristics were acquired in my life experiences, as you can read about below.
