As an experienced Head of PE and Dance, my career is built upon a foundation of excellence in academic results, with a proven track record of outstanding achievements in GCSE and A-Level PE and Dance. Over the span of 11 years, I've honed my skills as a moderator for Dance and PE at the GCSE level, actively participating in the marking process for AQA Exam board papers. My commitment to education spans over 18 years within the primary and secondary education sectors, during which I've contributed significantly to curriculum design, teaching, and sports coaching.Within the post-16 education sector, I am currently dedicated to teaching A-Level PE while simultaneously coaching U19 netball and cross country teams. Additionally, my journey includes British Swimming trainee referee accreditation.Throughout my career, I've played a pivotal role in mentoring PGCE Teachers during their school-based placements, offering guidance and support. Furthermore, my strong affiliation with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) underscores my dedication to the development and advancement of dance education.My passion for education and teaching is unwavering, driven by a desire to ensure that every student and young adult I teach departs my lessons with a profound sense of accomplishment. Beyond the confines of the classroom, I am actively involved in sports coaching, specializing in cross country & U19 netball.
