About Cate Meeder

Let's play two truths and a lie: 1. I grew up with dreams of being an author 2. In high school and college, my goal was to work as a school psychologist 3. Right now, I am hoping to be a tiger tamer.Okay, that may have been too easy. Although, if you think tiger taming is a viable career option, let me know. The truth is, I am continually exploring what professional path will best integrate my many passions: mental health, environmental education, photography, leadership development, writing and editing, social justice, travel, education reform, yoga, and interfaith dialogues. Again, if anyone knows a job description that has ALL of that, please send me a message. I do know that I want to work with all kinds of people. And until I find that perfect dream job, I am getting really good at finding creative ways that different fields can complement each other. Humans are complex, so why should we only approach one aspect of who they are? I incorporate physical and spiritual health into mental health. And the camp counselor in me makes sure we have fun (and play lots of get-to-know-you games) along the way, too.
