About Cath Collins

I've had an unusual career. I started off as an English, Media and Film teacher. Loved it, learned a lot. and realised that I couldn't do it forever. Then I took my passion of bringing subjects to life to the unlikely world of financial services. As it turned out, being an interloper within a world of science brains brings many advantages. I am the person who asks the stupid questions, refuses to accept the jargon and (perhaps a little sadly!) is passionate about everyone understanding subjects that they are scared of. I've been lucky enough to work for people who have taken a chance on me, despite my unconventional route. And have learned a lot from them along the way. My most recent role is what I can honestly describe as a dream come true. I admired Quietroom, their energy and their skills from afar. And now I get to be part of that magic. I'm constantly learning from and inspired by the team around me and am already a better writer and content designer as a result of my time here.
