About Cathal Bergin
A graduate of Munster Technological Universities Wildlife Biology course I am currently employed as an Ecologist/Conservation Detection Dog Handler with MKO. The past few years has seen a welt of experience gained in a range of surveys from habitat identification, otter, badger, invasive species and bat surveys. Of course all surveys come with reports such as AA, NIS and EcIA reports. QGIS capable and becoming familiar and comparing field recording technology such as Qfields and field maps. The most significant development as of late is the venture into the conservation detection dog world. Currently a LANTRA accredited handler and studying the art of training with diplomas in canine behavior and dog training. Highly enthusiastic to aid in improving and forwarding such an important sector in the future conservation of the natural world.
