As Project Leader I am responsible for the following: • Implement software and hardware/firmware features. • Assist the Software Architect in the top-level architectures for the software. • Responsible for the hardware architecture. • Early identification of potential project risks and development of risk mitigation/risk retirement strategies. • Assist department managers in project planning, scheduling, tracking and progress reporting. • Regular progress reviews with project staff; monitoring quality of work performed by project staff and subcontractors. • Review and quality of design, verification and customer documentation. • Work closely with Industrial Engineering to assist with transition of new products into production. • Ensure adherence to relevant company policies and procedures. As Project Leader I am also responsible for day-to-day decisions on projects (design, customer documentation and verification), consulting with R&D Managers on items which have been agreed between them.
