Background
About Catherine A.
I recently finished the MSDS program at City University of Seattle. For my capstone project, I built a very simple mobile app to identify autism in children using a very basic CNN model that is built from scratch, trained, and evaluated; then I retrained and tuned the model using Amazon SageMaker. Presented and published my capstone research paper for the ISCAP/EDSIG Proceedings 2022. I enjoy learning and experimenting on uncommon ways of solving problems. I am very interested in computer vision, NLP, and recommendation systems. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others as well as learn from others. I have a background in healthcare, insurance, and pharmacy/business managemant. I have travelled and lived all over the US - which I think can be an asset.
