About Catherine Allard-Pierre

Organised: Probably a word all people who know me would use to describe me! I am not the kind of person to make impulsive decisions or to rush into things without having thought things through logically. When I look at my To-Do list, I always make sure to plan and structure my work to achieve quality, and the best results. I thrive on challenges, and I will do my best to ensure your company’s success. I have also found that being an organised person with a high level of attention to detail helps me gain people’s trust and respect very quickly. I may not have followed “typical” linear path after graduating from my master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, but I believe the combination of work and life experiences I have bring me invaluable knowledge. Of course, work experiences gave me very helpful expertise in many industries and areas of the Supply Chain and industries, in particular: • Forecasting to inventory management, including resource and production planning, and order management • Transport and warehouse operations • Project Management • Process improvement • Customer relationships • Distribution, manufacturing, and service industries I have also spent almost 7 years travelling and working overseas, and I trained and worked as a dive master for a bit less than a year. What skills did this international experience give me? • Open-mindedness and appreciation of different opinions and perspectives • Ability to think outside the box • Adaptability, embracing change and enjoying being outside my comfort zone • Social skills • Accountability: When you ask yourself what’s next? You make choices and no one else is responsible for the outcomes. Even though I am a very structured person that enjoys challenges and working towards specific goals, I also value flexibility and the need for change to have a balanced life and keep evolving, or in the same manner to have a prosperous business constantly adapting to its environment.
