About Catherine Aurelio

As a Sr. Product Design Manager at Meta, I lead and support the teams that are focused on creating privacy-centric consumer experiences across the company's platforms and products. With over 15 years of experience in product design management, I have a passion for building and developing teams that use user research to drive human centered design solutions ensuring the world's leading social media platforms are safe for people and compliant with local and global regulations. In my roles at Meta and Coursera, I spearheaded the design of transparency and control products for ads and data privacy, redesigned the online purchase model for enterprise customers, and launched a streamlined content development tool for online educators. I have also shared my insights and expertise on gamification and product design strategy at TED and other venues. My mission is to design beautiful and useful things that empower people to connect, learn, and grow.
