The travel bug hit me at a young age when I headed off to America at 16 to take on a live-in nanny job for the summer holiday. From there I self-funded trips across the globe in school and university holidays until I finally settled in Cape Town, at the beautiful tip of Africa, which became home for over 20 years. During this time I built up exceptional travel experience, from planning individual and group luxury travel itineraries to eventually managing a travel company with over 20 employees. I was fortunate enough to travel extensively in Southern and East Africa and visited numerous camps, lodges and hotels.
