About Catherine Bondesio

Catherine is an experienced graphic designer who has worked both in the UK and South Africa. As a Director of Afrikat Design, Catherine’s extensive portfolio includes clients and projects across a number of market sectors. GlassBox, Catherine’s most recent venture, is a consultancy, which focuses on the digital work environment and collaboration in the modern work place. Prior to starting Afrikat Design, Catherine cut her teeth at a leading UK branding partnership (Smythe Dorward Lambert) before returning to Cape Town to work for a CRM consultancy (Grapevine Interactive) and a marketing, design and print agency (Colourworks). Catherine works across multiple platforms and brings a deep knowledge of both print and web-based design to any project she is involved with. She holds a diploma in Graphic Design from the Cape Technikon and has over 20 years of industry experience. Well traveled, she blends an imaginative approach to design with clear, commercial sensibilities and sound project management. For Catherine, good design is grounded in simplicity, her hallmark being subtlety rather than visual overload.
