About Catherine Camp
The goal is to give animals better lives. Non-profit (animal welfare): I have had a passion for animals my entire life. A few years ago it clicked with me that helping animals is truly what I want to do with my life. Once my schedule started to become more regular, I was able to start volunteering at CHA Animal Shelter for about 10 months before accepting the position as Community Engagement Manager where I am also the volunteer coordinator, overseeing 400+ volunteers. Photography: I've been in the field of photography since high school and was trained in a darkroom setting before learning digital. I currently photograph mainly portraits, engagements and weddings. Bartender: I've been working in the service industry since 2012 and have been bartending since I turned 21. I've worked at a wide variety of bars, from cocktail bars in the Short North (downtown Columbus) to nightclubs on Ohio State's campus to sports bars out in the suburbs. I thrive in fast-paced environments but also enjoy being able to chat with my bar guests and make real friendships and connections with my regulars.
