As a financial services professional, Catherine has 14 years experience in delivering custodial administration to clients & working in consultation with Wealth Advisers. In 1998 Catherine graduated from William Angliss Institute with an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management. Her passion for this industry provided her with the opportunity to experience & work at Special Events & highly regarded hotels throughout Melbourne. Her journey in financial services began in 2004 when she decided to change industries from Hotels & Hospitality to Financial Services. In her role at JBWere Catherine was a member of the Operations Leadership team, drawing on her strengths that include strong leadership skills, diligence, honesty, teamwork, reliability & being open minded to ensure that she delivers quality outcomes to clients & stakeholders and was a Responsible Manager for Invia Custodian Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of National Australia Bank. Holding various positions across the JBWere business from administration to projects to leadership, Catherine displays a high level of resilience, copes well in high pressure environments & during times of change. She is respected by her peers & is considered to be a SME across all aspects of custody operations. Catherine completed her RG146 – Securities & Managed Investments Accreditation to further increase & maintain her knowledge across the finance industry. Catherine is passionate about the team she manages & focuses her energy on the personal growth & development of her direct reports creating opportunities for them to gain further skills & experience across the business. Following Oracles’ acquisition of Aconex in March 2018, an opportunity arose in February 2019 to broaden my knowledge and gain experience in a different industry and across shared services. My role was to manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable (Order to Cash) function and contribute to the operational integration and transition of the Aconex Finance Department to Oracles’ offshore shared services team. My extensive operational and management experience enabled a seamless transition into the role and my skills and experience fully transferable across various roles and industries. Outside of work, Catherine enjoys fine food & wine in the company of family & friends. Catherine has a passion for cooking & in the future plans to own a café or bed & breakfast. Travel & exploring new places is another interest of Catherine’s & she enjoys planning new adventures both local & international with her husband.
