About Catherine Coronado

My name is Catherine Coronado, PhD candidate in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Hohenheim (Germany), Mg.Sc. in Environmental Sciences and B.Sc. in Biology at the National Agrarian University La Molina (Peru). I have been a Professor in three Peruvian universities since 2012 (Universidad Cientifica del Sur, Universidad Privada del Norte, and Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal) and one Chilean university since 2018 (Universidad Viña del Mar). I have been responsible for the drafting and review of more than 50 Theses (including 11 Master theses) and 65 Thesis projects in a 3-year period. I have been a Scholar Researcher at the International Potato Center (CIP) in Peru. In a 5-year period, I drafted and implemented three research projects for my undergraduate, Master, and PhD theses, obtaining international funding (from BMZ and GIZ) for the research projects and a scholarship (from Innovate Peru) for my postgraduate studies. The results from my theses have been presented in several international and national scientific events since 2013 and research articles are being prepared for their submission. My doctoral thesis dissertation is expected to be held at the beginning of 2024. In addition, I have worked as an external consultant for environmental consulting firms related to road infrastructure by providing cabinet information for biological baselines in environmental impact studies. I have a proficient command in Spanish (C2 level), an excellent command of English (C1 level), and basic knowledge of German (A2 level). Additionally, I have an excellent command in Microsoft Office and good knowledge in statistical software.
