About Catherine Curtiss

My name is Catherine Curtiss. I am currently a junior at Iowa State triple majoring in Marketing, Spanish, and Finance at Iowa State University. I was a student in President Wintersteen's Leadership Class and worked as a Cyclone Aide. I have served as a Student Admissions Representative (STAR) tour guide. I was elected the VP of Recruitment and Marketing for Kappa Delta and led the Sigma Sigma chapter in recruiting 56 women. Currently, I'm a member of the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and on the Ivy Student Council. Additionally, I'm an Ivy Student Ambassador, helping the college's recruitment efforts. Recently, I was elected as the Collegiate Panhellenic Council at Iowa State's Vice President of Recruitment Programming, where I will lead the campus sorority recruitment of sixteen chapters, manage the Panhellenic community's recruitment budget, and oversee over five hundred Potential New Members (PNMs). I have interned at a Holy Family Catholic Schools under the Director of Enrollment, Rebecca Mueller, and gained valuable hands-on experience in marketing and promotion. Additionally, I have interned for Ivy College of Business' Career Services team and gained valuable insights into market research. I have about five years of experience working as an associate at TJ Maxx, learning customer service and team work. During the school year, I work as a Student Office Assistant in the Undergraduate Office of the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University. Some of the top skills I have developed from past job experiences, involvement in organizations, and leadership roles include: customer service, self-motivation, critical thinking, organization, communication, flexibility, collaboration, and teamwork.
