About Catherine Denisowski

I am a recent graduate from North Carolina State University with a Master's in Electrical Engineering currently seeking full-time roles in Analog/Digital Systems, VLSI, or RF Engineering.I have taken numerous courses in analog and RF circuits and served as a TA for a sophomore level circuits course which covers topics such as op-amps, first/second order circuits, and frequency response. My graduate coursework included projects such as the design of an operational transconductance amplifier, low noise amplifier, and voltage controlled oscillator in 45nm CMOS. These projects had certain design metrics to be met in areas such as gain, noise figure, and power efficiency. This required extensive design and optimization work to carefully balance design trade-offs.I also have experience in VLSI design through my graduate level coursework. One of my projects involved the design of a 64-bit 2-port SRAM which was capable of simultaneous read and write operations. Optimization of the design led to a maximum clock frequency of over 15 GHz and an area of 8.9 µm2. Another project was focused on designing a 3nm SerDes consisting of a DFE, CTLE, and FIR filter. My design was able to reach a top speed of 11.765 Gbps, which was the highest performing design in my class.I am also very passionate about international collaboration. I participated in the SensUs international biosensor competition in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. I also interned at Nagoya University in Japan where I developed a system in Python that allowed a human to have a conversation with an android.
