About Catherine Dick

Originally from Scotland, I moved to Australia in 2002. I am a highly experienced, pragmatic leader who thrives on achieving outcomes. I have a demonstrated history of success across high risk, matrix and complex industries which include manufacturing environments. My strengths lying in human resources leadership, transformation, change management and organisational development. The results I have achieved throughout my career are a testament to my ability to motivate teams, build capability, align strategic vision and achieve organisational growth. My human resources career began in the care and justice sector, where I quickly progressed to roles that saw me leading teams across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. My time at Nufarm was spent enabling delivery of the Nufarm People Strategy and Transformation agenda. Latterly, my role at Thales sees me represent the HR function across the Land Business Line (Australia, France and Belgium). I also have considerable experience working across different industry sectors including local government, not for profit, private and public listed businesses. This includes experience working in regional and global roles. My background is supported by qualifications in the field of Neuroscience, Organisational Change Management, Leadership training, accredited coaching qualifications including Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as my own life experiences and knowledge gained as an HR Leader.
