About Catherine Downs

I've been working in UX since 2013 and SaaS since 2016. I got here through my interests in computing and design, a curiosity of how things get built, along with a desire to better understand people and their needs. My aim is to foster a positive environment for good design to happen wherever it's needed. I believe in designing: • Responsibly - respecting users and assessing the impact of design choices • Collaboratively - working with users and skilled, pleasant specialists to explore ideas • Inclusively - making products provide a good experience for as many people as possible My toolkit varies based on requirements, but has included Figma, Adobe CC, Axure, Balsamiq, Sketch… and many, many notebooks.
