Associate Professor | Qualitative Researcher | Creative Explorer I study how humans human. especially when life gets messy. As an associate professor of Human Development & Family Studies, my work centers on sexuality, family systems, and supporting parenting students. I’m passionate about helping others find clarity in complexity, whether I’m mentoring qualitative researchers, leading classroom discussions, or exploring stories that challenge societal norms. Outside the academy, I’m an award-winning quilter, podcast co-host (Creative Crossroads), and TEDx speaker ("Lessons from the sex professor who never dated").
