About Catherine Eustace

A founding partner of Collard & Eustace, Catherine’s family law practice covers divorce, separation, child custody and access as well as child and spousal support. In addition to being an attorney she is an accredited family mediator and is a certified professional social worker, skills that now inform her professional approach to the practice of family law. Born and raised in Montreal she was educated at McGill University, Université de Montréal and the Australian National University in Canberra and earlier at Marianopolis College and The Sacred Heart School of Montreal. She has a Bachelor of Arts (psychology) and a Bachelor of Social Work, both from McGill, and an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal. Fluent in English and French she was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2009 and since 2006 has been a member of the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux du Québec. Catherine is also a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit de la famille du Québec Her interest in family law was sparked initially by her experience in social work gained at the Royal Victoria Hospital, the Montreal General Hospital and CLSC Metro. As part of her legal studies she was a legal stagiaire at Auberge Shalom, a shelter for women at risk. Prior to establishing C&E with her partners she was an associate at a long-established and well-known family law practice where she gained the valuable experience she now brings to her own firm. Involved in her community she is legal advisor to the United Irish Societies of Montreal.
