About Catherine F.

For over a decade, I have dedicated my career to working with students—from TK learners taking their first steps in education to high school seniors preparing for their next chapter. I thrive in the chaos, curiosity, growth, and countless “firsts” that make school settings so unique. To me, these spaces are where children and teens can truly be themselves, and I feel honored to be part of their journey. I am now at a place in life where my work is no longer just a “job”—it is my passion. As a bilingual therapist trainee, I serve students across grade levels, currently supporting a caseload of 19 students ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors. I provide psychoeducation on key topics such as emotional regulation, vaping, and sleep hygiene while integrating mindfulness, art-based activities, play-based therapy, DBT, and CBT techniques into my practice. As a Latina child and adolescent therapist, my goal is to empower youth, amplify their voices, and create a safe space where they feel seen, heard, and valued. Every student deserves a supportive environment to grow, heal, and thrive, and I am committed to making that a reality.
