About Catherine Gore

My name is Catherine Gore and I am a BFA in Design student at Northeastern University with experience in graphic design, UI/UX, brand design, and editorial design. I am currently working as a Research Assistant for the Center for Design at the College of Arts, Media and Design where I am researching the UI of existing data repository websites, and creating a website and brand strategy for a project named "Co-Designing a Network of Public Sector Design Scholars and Practitioners in Latin America." I am also a designer for Artistry Magazine and The Huntington News, where I create graphics and layouts, and collaborate with teams of writers and photographers to create a polished final project. My studies have taken me abroad to Switzerland, where I expanded my design perspective through immersion in Swiss, French, and German cultures. I’ve also been recognized with 1st and 2nd place in the 2023 Congressional Art Competition and Northeastern's College of Arts, Media, and Design Dean's Honors Fellowship for academic and creative excellence. I’m always open to connecting and collaborating on innovative design projects. Reach me at gore.c@northeastern.edu.
