Catherine recently led the design of the Takaro a Poi/Margaret Mahy Family Playground, a key investment in the post-earthquake regeneration of Christchurch. Development of the park has been a catalyst for economic growth with businesses in the wider precinct experiencing a major lift in trade. Most importantly a part of the City that was once empty is again filled with laughter. Catherine is involved in designing and delivering cycleway and walking routes, urban streets and squares and recreation reserves throughout New Zealand. Catherine is a registered member of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects.
