About Catherine Keating
Dr Catherine Keating leads the preventive health investment strategy for the Medibank Group. She partners with industry, research institutes and start-ups to design, test and scale new health services and technologies to improve the health of Australians. She has also led health system reform and advanced health analytics portfolios. Prior to Medibank, Catherine’s career spanned management consulting (health strategy & economics) & health research (45 publications regarding the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of new services to prevent and manage chronic health conditions). Catherine is an Enterprise Fellow at the University of Melbourne and holds an advisory role at Monash University (Health Economics). She holds a PhD in Health Economics, a Masters in Public Health and clinical qualifications as an Occupational Therapist. Last year she won the Australian Clinical Trials Committee Partnership Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to high impact industry-research partnerships.
