About Catherine Lessard

I graduated from a bachelor's degree in business administration from Laval University in 2020. In my university curriculum, I also participated, from 2019 to 2020, in a student exchange year at Korea University in Seoul. In addition, I have been working for Desjardins Insurance Group since 2016. Following my undergraduate degree, I am looking forward to developing my interest in the field of business analytics. In September 2021, I started a graduate program in Business Analytics at Laval University to deepen my knowledge and interest in this field. I also plan on following another one of my dreams which is to discover new cultures and get to know people from all over the world. Being a foreign student, I have been exposed to new people and new cultures. I have also been in situations that have taught me to adapt quickly and to be more open-minded. My experience abroad in South Korea taught me a lot, as I had to learn to work with peers from different backgrounds, but it also taught me to express my point of view to others even if it differs from theirs.
