I write and lecture on art and art history and am based in Somerset.I'm currently working on a book about women artists and activists and I regulalrly contribute to The New European Newspaper and BBC Radio 4 Front Row as a critic.My book about feminism and visual culture 'Women in the Picture ' is published by Icon Books and WW Norton in 2021 and is available now. https://uk.bookshop.org/books/women-in-the-picture-women-art-and-the-power-of-looking/9781785785894In 2022 I'm curator of a twelve month programme 'Exploring Radical Female Joy' with Unit London In 2019/20 I curated an acclaimed two part show 'Matrescence and Maternality ' for Richard Saltoun Gallery in London. My work has been published in international exhibition catalogues and magazines and I regularly contribute to academic conferences on my research topics as well as chair panels, most recently for the London Art Fair. Specialities: Women and feminism in visual culture. Fluent Italian speaker, cultural theory about the body and senses, Renaissance and Baroque (early modern) art and art theory.
