About Catherine Miranda

I am a Career Development professional where my passion lies in empowering people as they navigate their way towards their career goals in life. I help clients discover, plan, and explore career options and ultimately, help them to be employed, and gain valuable internship experience in the workplace. I coordinate with different employers or internship hosts and facilitate interviews for my clients/ students until they are gainfully employed. To prepare my clients reach their career goals, I conduct individual and group sessions either virtual or in-person on topics like resume and cover letter writing, acing the job interviews, job- search strategies, labour market information, optimizing resume and LinkedIn. Also, I conduct career exploration, planning and counseling, source possible leads for employment or internship/placement. The phrases such as " I am hired!" or " I am ready to act on my career goals now" are like music to my ears, and this brings me inner joy and satisfaction. It inspires me to meet people and guide them in their journey be it personal or career- related. It is a blessing to be working in a helping profession that allows me to help people become the BEST version of themselves. In my home country, I am a University Registered Guidance Counselor, a Licensed Professional Teacher and a Registered Psychometrician.
