I am a Tax Associate at Indeed, where I conduct thorough reviews of invoices, examine taxability of transactions, verify and apply exemptions, and engage in effective communication with clients. I am also a BBA Accounting candidate at Texas Tech University, after transferring from UHD Marilyn Davies College of Business, where I gained a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices. As a Transaction Tax Intern at DMA, I assisted in review preparation, tax research, and data analysis, using Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and reporting. I also demonstrated strong customer service skills as a Field Organizer at Beto for Texas, where I recruited and trained volunteers, organized and supported events, and raised community awareness for the campaign. I am motivated by learning new skills, solving complex problems, and contributing to a team that values diversity and inclusion. I believe I can bring my analytical, bookkeeping, and AP skills, as well as my passion for accounting and public service, to any organization that seeks a dedicated and adaptable tax professional.
