Hello! My name is Catherine and I am a student at Drake University majoring in Law, Politics, and Society and Strategic Political Communications with Spanish and Human Rights Studies Minors. I graduated from Boone High School in Boone, IA in May of 2021, at which time I also graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with an Associates Degree of Liberal Arts (AA). I am currently working as a Communications and Community Outreach Intern with Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services. I have previous worked as a field organizer for Kimberly Graham for Polk County Attorney. Working with Graham taught me valuable communication, organization, and financial skills. I have been able to make connections with other politicians in the area and learn from prominent leaders in Polk County. I am currently looking for roles for the 2023-2024 school year and for Summer 2024 in Politics, Public Relations, Political Communications, Political Journalism, or related fields. I am an advanced Spanish speaker and studied abroad in Spain for my Spring 2023 semester.
