About Catherine Ponte

Helping people make our world better is the driving ethic of my career. I believe in the human capacity for creativity, compassion and resilience. What I love most about public service is the opportunity to make a tangible positive impact in people's lives. For me, historic preservation and environmental conservation both offer valuable information and resources to improve our overall quality of life. I seek out the stories told by ecosystems and the configuration of city neighborhoods. These things are fascinating as they are important in the quest for solutions to our current societal challenges. Therefore, I focus my work where I can better my world while building upon my research, outreach, facilitation, writing and planning skills.
