I thrive on delivering great outcomes and engaging positively with those around me. As a Chief Officer at CC4LD (Conwy Connect for Learning Disabilities), I lead my organisation and team by serving. I pride myself on having a positive and enabling attitude, while also being able to make tough decisions and take ownership of their consequences. My current role requires a multi-skilled and flexible approach to the tasks required, as I support a Board of Trustees and ensure good governance is in place. I have a genuine interest in creating choice and ensuring a coherent and mission-related strategy is in place, while also being entrepreneurial and having a strong vision and business mind. At the same time, I keep the members' wants and needs in the forefront of our services, ensuring a mission focus and building the profile of the issues the organization seeks to challenge or support. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working in partnership with a range of organizations, including the Welsh Government, regional, public and private organizations, and voluntary sectors. I have well-developed analytical skills, which have been further developed through my studies at degree level. I can relate to a wide range of people at different levels and in different contexts, and I have strong leadership and project management skills, able to motivate and manage people. I am excited to continue my professional journey and connect with others who share my passion for helping people and making a positive impact.
