About Catherine Turner

With a 25 year career in design, Catherine is the owner/designer of Ribton Turner Interior Design a Cambridgeshire-based interior design studio whose work considers both classic and contemporary interiors. She designs and manages the installation of beautiful, functional and stylish residential interiors that truly reflect the personalities and needs of her clients. Catherine is passionate about delivering well considered design projects supported by exceptional client servicing throughout. Excellent project management is at the heart of all of Catherine's projects ensuring that budgets and timeframes are a priority, whilst ensuring that the integrity of the design is delivered. Catherine started in the field of fashion with luxury brand, Aquascutum, in buying and project management, then spent ten years as a brand design strategist working for top British and international brand design consultancies. For the past eight years, she has established and managed the interior design division of a Cambridgeshire architectural design and build practice, specialising in listed and period buildings and working in close collaboration with a team of architects, builders, sub-contractors and suppliers and in the past eighteen months has set up her own practice.She is also the founder of BEG Bicycles; a classic Dutch bicycle brand specialising in hand-built 'sit up and beg' style bicycles and luxurious, vintage-inspired cycling accessories. Responsible for all aspects of the business, with a particular emphasis on Sales and Marketing, including PR and Social Media, BEG Bicycles has become an internationally renowned cycling and lifestyle brand.Born in Cambridgeshire, but having studied and worked for many years in Tokyo, London and Paris, Catherine now finds herself living in a bucolic and sociable village just outside Cambridge. Catherine speak's a good level of French and Japanese, and brings an international outlook to her work. Expertise: interior design, sales and marketing including branding, brand strategy, experience design, product strategy, visual identity, brand leverage and social media.
