About Catherine Vard

I have 15 years of extensive expertise in leading teams, financial reporting and technical accounting. I started out my career in professional services in Ireland, and then gained industry experience in Australia in financial reporting and control of large scale Coal Seam Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) projects while working in a complex vertically integrated ASX listed energy company. On my return to Ireland, I have since branched out into Renewable Energy, working with Solar PV projects headquartered in Ireland with markets in the United States, Ireland, UK and Australia, supporting these projects through the development, construction and operation phases. I have experience working on complex technical accounting matters, managing and monitoring tax risks along with providing transaction support and implementing effective corporate structures. I enjoy working with, leading and developing talented finance and corporate teams with a focus on Project management, Transformation, Communication and Employee engagement in order to provide quality services to the broader business. I trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and I am a Bachelor of Commerce graduate of University College Dublin.
