About Catherine Willm

I'm a College of Charleston Honors Student pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, with a Concentration in Politics, Philosophy and Law. I'm a native South Carolinian from Columbia and a Life Scholar. In the fall of 2024 I will enter the Law School Admissions Cycle for 2024-2025 and intend on focusing on intellectual property law. On campus, I serve as Vice President of Operations for Kappa Alpha Theta, overseeing the management and creative direction of 10+ 200 person events a month, as well as spearheading the organizations judicial board in order to uphold fraternity ideals and ethics throughout the chapter. I also captain the club women’s and gender-inclusive ultimate frisbee team at the College, leading a team of over 20 girls in weekly practices, providing logistics for monthly tournament planning, budgeting for the team for the year, and successfully planning and executing our alumni tournament in February. I currently work as a barista at Kudu Coffee Roasters and a Serve at Ruru's Taco and Tequila. This past summer I gained hands-on experience in the legal field through a File Clerkship at Seibl's Firm in downtown Charleston. Formerly, I was an Orientation Intern in the summer of 2022 and 2023, facilitating the advising, organizing and registration of hundreds of rising Cougars through New Student Programs. Before becoming Vice President of Operations, I served Theta's Event Director, budgeting over in chapter events and facilitating the success of mixers and date functions by coordinating with other Greek life leadership and venues. In my first year on campus, I served as Fundraising Director, where I raised over through organizing fundraising events around the community for Theta's philanthropies, Water Mission and Court Appointed Special Advocates. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going on runs in downtown Charleston, and going to the park with friends.
