About Cathryn Pratt

As a Product Designer and Graphic Designer, and with illustration and professional writing skills, my creative work experience has been diverse. Working in the gift and home decor industry, I have created several concepts for inspirational decor items including figural and non-figural products. My illustrations and hand-lettering have been used on a regular basis for messaging and designs printed on items as such as ceramic figurines, photo frames, trinket dishes, table runners etc. I also have exceptional communication skills, having held positions in reception, office support, and retail. My design experience includes but is not limited to: logo design, branding, print design, typography, promotional materials, illustration, approving final designs, and regular correspondence with overseas vendors. I also am proficient in a variety of software programs and learn new programs quickly. I have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. And in every position I have held, I have a history of building positive relationships with others and am excellent team player! In fact, I am continually recognized for my positive attitude and passion for encouraging those around me! In short, I thrive in an environment where communication skills are crucial and the ability to learn on-the-job is a given.
