At the beginning of 2013, I decided to give up Media practice and returned to working as a full-time Family Lawyer, joining a specialist Family practice. In June 2015, I moved to Porter Dodson to advise high net worth individuals. I have a particular expertise in advising upon pensions, including Service and NHS benefits. I have a wealth of experience in the fields of financial relief, pre-marital planning, cohabitation agreements, divorce and private children work. I have been ranked for many years in both the Legal 500 and the Chambers and Partners legal directories. I am a former Chairman of the Devon and Cornwall Solicitors Family Law Association, now Resolution, and current Press Officer for Somerset Resolution. I am a former member of the national training committee and I continue to be involved in training other family lawyers. I sit on the Devon and Somerset Law Society Training Committee. Throughout my career I have spent much of my time managing cases for high net worth individuals, including CEOs, company directors, farmers, lawyers, members of the medical profession and members of the Armed Forces. In addition to my family work, I have been recognised as one of the leading experts in defamation and privacy law.
