Background
About Cathy Baumgardner
I have 35 years of teaching experience in both public and private education, teaching everything from a 4 yr old program all the way through 8th graders. Over the years I have found myself specializing in elementary math and science with technology integration. I love to learn new things and my chosen career has made that possible - no two days are alike and I learn something new almost every day! Twelve years ago I decided I needed to get involved with coaching a robotics team and wound up starting an FLL program at school. It's the coolest, craziest, most rewarding experience I can imagine-) This year my role is changing in another exciting way and I get to build our STEM program starting with our little guys in grades PreK - 4. We are now participating in VEX IQ Robotics and looking forward to all the new challenges that will provide!
