About Cathy Brewer

I am an experienced field and clinical professional with diverse interests, skills and abilities. Due to my non-linear career path, I am "more" than a just a sum of my previous positions. Most recently I had the privilege of being a Regulatory Technical and Clinical Affairs specialist (RTS/CAS) at Sysmex America, Inc, a globally successful diagnostic instrument company. I made significant clinical study contributions resulting in multiple FDA clearances. Prior to that, I was a field Technical Integrations Specialist II (TIS) for the company in New England where I was responsible for the implementation of laboratory instruments, staff training and customer retention in my assigned territory. I started my career as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) and have worked in challenging, result oriented environments of several large notable teaching hospitals interspersed with a successful career in the insurance industry progressing from medical claims to account management to underwriting.
