About Cathy Curry

Over the years I have worked a lot within the latin community inside and outside of the United States, traveling to over 16 different countries, and supporting non profits within those countries. I have also worked over 5 years as a social worker for the state of Nebraska working directly with Spanish speaking families to try to alleviate the problems that brought them into the system so that they can be together, safely as a family. I have been living in Nicaragua working in the community of Salinas Grande now for 4.5 years, being a mentor, teaching English and supporting student's education. I love to advocate for women and youth to search for who they were created to be in Christ and help them to push toward those goals, pushing through different barriers of education and poverty.
