About Cathy Jackson

For many years, I have had a dual career in both libraries and as a business owner of Relaxation Plus. My career began in libraries. I developed 2 libraries from start to fully operational. My library experience includes working in school, medical and public facilities. I am an organized, detail-oriented team player with a talent for teaching library skills as well as selecting materials and developing comprehensive collections. I am also knowledgeable of Web 2.0 applications and am skilled in various technologies such as Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and online cataloging and data bases. My management skills are excellent as well as being customer service oriented with experience in staff recruitment and training. I have been the "go to" person for many years. I developed an interest in healthful living which led me to get my PhD in counseling. I launched Relaxation Plus where I consulted clients on living a healthy lifestyle and counseled in stress management. This then led to learning massage therapy and I became licensed not only in massage but also in skin care. I am also licensed to do facials and other skin care services.
