About Cathy Rodgers

After 40 years in global sales and customer engagement, with a proven track record of recruiting and unleashing high performance teams, business process innovation, sales ops productivity, client satisfaction, complex multi country contracts and an enviable employee morale it was time to pursue more personal and philanthropic passions. My effort and focus now continues to be on mentoring. Passing on, to the generations that follow, the lessons in leadership I learned along the way including the ability to have a successul career without selling your soul and losing your SELF. To no surprise to those that know me, wine was involved in my career pivot.though I subscribe to the notion of "no whining"- focus on doing! Currently writing features prominently. This I will put in the category "Read between the vines". My first book "Trail Mix - Food for the Sole" was just published! My second book is underway.Much effort goes into Rooted In Hope, Co-Founded with my two daughters. Founded in 2009, we focus on environmental conservation/restoration activities with womens groups and students domestically and around the world. We have small cooperative nurseries to grow trees, we plant trees, we focus on water conservation and clean drinking water, kitchen gardens and sustainable economic development through our chickenomics payment program. All proceeds from our wine sales and book sales go to fund our Rooted In Hope projects.
