About Cathy Rowe

I am currently Head of Marketing Engagement at Barnardos Australia, moving into the position from being Head of Digital Engagement. My current role involves responsibility for the Engagement and Giving Portfolio Strategic Development, Marketing Management, Budget and Performance monitoring, Team Management and Cross Team Collaboration. I have previous experience in Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy on both client and agency sides. I have worked in marketing and digital media for over a decade, backed by five years in Creative Advertising and Media where I operated and led in project management, relationship management, event and marketing coordination and media strategy. Amongst the brands I have worked for in the UK are Bacardi Brown Forman brands, Bacardi, Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire and Martini, Wrigley's Extra, Sailor Jerry and Sony Music Unlimited. Working in Social Media for alcohol brands has been particularly stimulating, and I am trained in Corporate Social Responsibility, producing and monitoring content on brand channels that adheres and commits to CSR practises. Since then I moved into the third sector and have found my home working to advance the opportunities and finding resources for children in need.
